Bailey

A puppy was brought in to Garden State Veterinary Specialists (Tinton Falls, NJ) by people who had recently adopted him from a shelter. When they were told the puppy had parvo, they felt they could not afford the expense and asked that he be euthanized. Instead, the vet's office called us to see if we could help; they felt this was a highly adoptable, and very cute puppy who deserved a chance. The original owners signed a release, turning him over to rescue; Peppertree Rescue agreed to take him when he was well, and the Goldstock Fund authorized payment of his treatment. Fortunately, the little guy pulled through, and was quickly adopted after his arrival at Peppertree. Here's a picture and an update from his adopters. "Well, we renamed Kelsey, Baily, and he is just perfect!! I don't think I have ever met a more friendly and well behaved dog. Everyone loves him; my family, Kevin's family and everyone in PetSmart and Benson's. We are so lucky to have him.
