GOLDSTOCK FUND GRANT GENERAL INFORMATION
The
Goldstock Fund is a non-profit 501c3
organization that grants money for
charitable causes. Taking directly from our
mission statement: The Goldstock Fund's
mission is to provide funds to rescue
organizations or individuals to pay for
transportation, boarding, evaluation and
medical costs of golden retrievers and
golden hearted dogs taken into rescue.
The
information here is for applying for grant
money in the areas of: Transportation,
Evaluation, or Boarding. A separate
application and information sheet is
available for medical expenses. All grant
approvals are contingent upon available
funds.
General
Fund
The fund is for Golden Retrievers and Golden
hearted dogs. Primary Focus is medical for non golden
retrievers, or golden retrievers that do not fit the criteria of the
other funds. This is also the fund for all dogs needing
transportation, boarding or behavioral evaluations |
GoldenMED
Will consider monetary assistance towards emergency
medical expenses for ONLY Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever
mixes, who are abandoned or in need of rescue, and for whom other
funding is not available, or is insufficient. No age
restrictions. |
Sierra
Fund
A fund to aid Golden Retrievers and golden hearted
dogs in rescue under 5 years of age with suspected forms of cancer. |
Helen
Redlus Memorial Fund
For senior and special needs Goldens
Will consider providing assistance for extraordinary medical
expenses for ONLY Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes who
are 8 years of age or older or where the medical needs are
extraordinary in a dog of any age. |
To
apply for a Goldstock Fund Grant,
a completed "Qualifying Form" and
"Grant Application" must be
received by the GF Committee.
Upon receipt of completed
information the contact person
will be notified within 3 days as
to status of request. If
approved, checks will be sent out
upon receiving appropriate
documentation which will include
receipts and/or proof of
financial need.

Currently
funds available are all donations
made to the Goldstock
Fund.
Any
rescue that requests grants
totaling over $500 in the same
calendar year may be required, at
the sole descreton the BOD of the
Goldstock Fund, to provide a
statement of financial
need.
Funds
are available up to $300 for
Transportation. Transportation
cost can include:
- Airfare
- Gas
reimbursement for CUR
Runs
- Van
rental for CUR
Runs
Funds
are available up to $150 for
Boarding. Boarding cost can
include:
- Vet
clinic boarding
- Kennel
facility
Funds
are NOT available for:
Funds
are available up to $200 for
behavioral evaluations by an
approved trainer. Please contact
GF for suggestions of evaluators
in your area, or provide us
information on your choice of an
evaluator.
