Special Senior to Almost Senior Seminar
"Developing and Implementing a Comprehensive, Holistic Home Enrichment Program"
  1. Special medical issues of Senior Dogs and latest information about diets, supplements, medications, diagnostic testing and treatment options.
  2. The use of daily massage in enhancing health, happiness, physical and cognitive functioning.
  3. Modifying environment and assessing behavior expectations taking into consideration the individual dogs' strengths and areas of need. Understanding this is an ever changing issue.
  4. Plans and directions provided for making a light weight, inexpensive set of portable stairs to use for entry into vans/cars and indoors too.
  5. Planning and implementing daily cognitive enrichment fun activities
  6. Other Senior issues such as Music Therapy, Flower Essence Therapy and when appropriate Hospice Care.

Special Feel Good Dog Therapeutic Massage Cabin... Individual sessions available at no cost to camp participants

  1. Comfortable, serene aromatherapy enhanced room with appropriate music to insure maximum comfort and relaxation for your beloved canine companion.
  2. Therapist will provide 15 minute private hands on sessions for individual dogs and will demonstrate massage techniques to their humans during the session.
  3. Sign up sheet will be available in the Dining Hall starting Friday Afternoon.
